Why You Can Trust Us
Authorized distributor of Baxter ACTIFUSE93% fusion across 694 patients, independent reviewFDA cleared and used in US spine surgery since 2007In the OR with your surgeon, OH MI IN and Pittsburgh
Our Services
Fracture RepairBone void filling in fracture repair: tibial plateau, distal radius, calcaneus and other defects packed with ACTIFUSE alongside the surgeon’s fixation. Fills the gap trauma leaves behind so new bone has a path across it. Used with appropriate stabilizing hardware; not for load-bearing use on its own.
Bone Cysts & Benign LesionsFilling the void after curettage of benign bone cysts and lesions, delivered open or through the ACTIFUSE MIS applicator for small corridors. The defect fills with scaffold that resorbs as new bone replaces it.
Hip & Knee RevisionFilling bone loss in revision joint surgery: acetabular and femoral defects, tibial defects behind failed knee components. ACTIFUSE packs contained defects with an 80% porous scaffold that remodels into the patient’s own bone as the revision heals.
Spine FusionACTIFUSE bone graft for posterolateral spinal fusion with instrumentation, used on-label. 93% fusion across 694 patients in an independent Johns Hopkins review, the same rate as BMP-2, with less reported back pain in the randomized trial and no bone harvested from the hip. The deepest evidence base in our line.
Foot & Ankle FusionBone grafting for ankle and hindfoot fusion: tibiotalar, subtalar and midfoot arthrodesis. ACTIFUSE fills the fusion site with a scaffold your body replaces with real bone, without harvesting from the hip or heel. Anatomy-specific published experience includes a 24-patient tibiotalar series using SiCaP.
Our Products
ALTAPORE MIS SystemApplicator-based delivery of ALTAPORE for minimally invasive and deep-corridor placement, using the same controlled trigger delivery approach as the ACTIFUSE MIS System.
ACTIFUSE FLOWACTIFUSE in a flowable delivery format for precise placement into narrow bony voids and around instrumentation where a moldable brick will not reach.
ACTIFUSE MISPistol-grip applicator preloaded with ACTIFUSE ABX for open and minimally invasive procedures. 200 mm working length, 8 mm outside diameter, 7.5 mL cartridge delivering 0.5 mL per full trigger squeeze, with bayonet-fit refill cartridges swappable mid-case. Controlled delivery into deep corridors where finger packing is not an option.
ACTIFUSE ABXSculptable ACTIFUSE putty in a preloaded syringe, ready on opening, sizes 1.5 mL to 20 mL. Designed for standalone use; may be combined with sterile saline, autologous blood or bone marrow aspirate at the surgeon’s discretion per the Instructions for Use.
ACTIFUSE SHAPEPreformed moldable ACTIFUSE in cylinders and strips (1.6 mL to 15.8 mL) that can be shaped to the contours of the defect and resist irrigation. Cold, it holds firm; a gentle squeeze extends it to span multiple levels in the posterolateral gutter. The format surgeons reach for in open posterior fusion.
ALTAPORE Bioactive Bone GraftBaxter’s newer-generation silicate-substituted calcium phosphate with enhanced strut porosity. Same material class as ACTIFUSE, studied in spinal fusion within the 2020 Johns Hopkins meta-analysis subgroup. Osteoconductive bone void filler; not for load-bearing use.
ALTAPORE SHAPEMoldable preformed ALTAPORE for shaping to the defect in open procedures, with the handling of the SHAPE format on the enhanced-porosity ALTAPORE scaffold.
ACTIFUSE Bone Graft SubstituteSilicate-substituted calcium phosphate granules with 0.8 wt% chemically bound silicon and 80% interconnected porosity. The core ACTIFUSE material: an osteoconductive scaffold that resorbs and is replaced by bone during healing. FDA cleared bone void filler for orthopedic use including posterolateral spinal fusion with appropriate hardware. Not for load-bearing use.
